Haskell, bounded and described as follows, commencing on the river at Low water mark, on the Easterly side thereof, about six feet Southerly of the Wyman Bridge “so called”, and extending from thence Easterly on the road the distance of Eighty seven links, thence Southerly from the said road, ninety links, thence Easterly on a straight line to a point opposite the centre of the length of the barn heretofore held in common between the said vendor and the said Baxter, thence Southerly on a straight line to the centre of the length of the said barn, thence still Southerly through the center of the length of said barn and along the centre of the driveway from the said Barn to the said Bye road being the same driveway as heretofore held in common between the said vendor and the said Baxter to the North side of the said Bye road, leading across the said river between the said stores, thence westerly, along the Northerly side of the said Bye road, to a line on the margin of the said river , said line being the line drawn by Joseph Kilborn late Land Surveyor as appears by the plan of the Survey thereof date in the month of April 1808, and now in the possession of Portus Baxter Esquire of Derby, thence Northerly along said line to the place of beginning […]. [2] …being the equal Westerly half of that portion of the said tract of land heretofore held in common between the said vendor and the said Baxter, that lies South of the said Bye road, as the same is and extends and also the equal right and privilege in common between the said John W. Baxter and the said purchaser […] of drawing water by logs or pipes from the spring on the residue of the said tract of land now belonging to the said John W. Baxter, to the house and barn erected on the tract of land hereby sold […] ».
