The Samuel C. Pannell Meadowview Community Center

Located in the South Sacramento area, the Pannell Meadowview Community Center offers three rooms for rentals: a multipurpose room, a conference room, and a meeting room. A large kitchen with plenty of counter space is also available when renting the multipurpose room. The center is on a 12-acre site, which includes several large grass areas, two outdoor basketball courts, two baseball diamonds, the Pannell Meadowview Recreational Pool, and the fully-accessible River Cats Independence Field. A monthly calendar of events and activities is available for pick-up in our lobby by the 3rd of each month. It also serves as a senior center.

Room Information:

*Meeting Room 106: Room Capacity: 40 banquet style / 50 Theater style.

*Meeting Room 105 - Computer Lab: This room houses special programs and open lab hours for the community.

*Multi-purpose Room 103: Room Capacity: 300 banquet style / 350 Theater style.

*Kitchen

*Patio: This public outside area has plenty of seating space to enjoy the weather or to be used as a space for meetings.

*Conference Room A & B: Room Capacity Combined: 60 Banquet style / 70 Theater style Room Capacity Individually: 25 Banquet style / 30 Theater style.

*The Basement/Activity Room: Not available for rentals, exclusive use for center programs and activities.

*Dance Room: Specialty Flooring, Maximum Capacity: 20

*Arts and Crafts Room: Room Capacity: 30 maximum - tables are stationary and cannot be removed.

*Wellness Room: Not available for rentals. Public may join this exercise room for $15 per month - no initiation fees!

*River Cats Independence Field: RCIF is a completely barrier free baseball field, where athletes, of all ages, with disabilities compete in team sports year round. The rubberized surface of the field allows players to independently negotiate the infield and outfield with ease. Please call 808-2340 for more information on this facility.

*Meadowview Park: This fabulous open space offers a full size soccer field, a baseball field, and restroom facilities.

*Meadowview Aquatic Center: The eight-lane, 25-yard long competition pool includes a beach-type entry with an interactive water play structure. A 35-foot tall slide takes you on a two-and-a-half loop, 156-foot long journey. Other amenities feature lounge chairs, picnic tables and plenty of space for lounging on the grass.
