The Chicana Latina Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was Started by Latina women in order to help many Latinas and Chicanas succeed. The Chicana Latina Foundation Website outlines the history and many services that the foundation has to offer. The foundation provides a support community, volunteer opportunities, and scholarship opportunities of 1,500 dollars to Latina and Chicana women every year. The foundation Values pride in cultural identity, and communicates the importance of community building. The Chicana Latina Foundation located in Burlingame, and the Fellowships Department located at SFSU, both provide students with information on scholarship opportunities.
