Description:

The Health Promotion & Wellness Center provides opportunities for students to reach success academically, mentally, and physically.  The Health Promotion & Wellness Center hosts multiple, helpful, free, and available events and workshops for everyone to participate in to ensure student’s well-being.  Though many activities are scattered throughout the campus, you can be updated on all new and upcoming events/workshops on their website or Instagram listed above. Students are able to walk in any day of the week and scan a QR to fill out and grab a variety of items such as laundry supplies, hygiene items, snacks, sexual health resources, and self-care supplies.

Services:

  • Vending machine open 24 hours/7 days a week. Low-cost wellness essentials for students.
  • Food+Shelter+Success. We support Sf State students in reaching their full potential by providing food, housing, and financial crisis support and referrals.
  • CalFresh EBT available for students to apply, even if they don't have financial aid for food yet.

Student Reviews:

- The space is clean and organized, staff are friendly and helpful. Snacks and supplies were free to grab anytime throughout the day during their open hours.

- There were many resources and services that they provided on their windows for students to come and check out ourselves but is also able to walk in and ask for further more questions or guidance.
