- Birth control refills, medical evaluation & consultation, SHS providers & nurses, medication & medication refill requests are all via virtual appointments
SHS in SFSU campus provides numerous accessible health resources to women such as STI and vaginal infection testings and treatments, pregnancy tests, preventative health care, and pap smears. This health service center offers and highly encourages health insurance for students called “Family PACT.” SFSU’s Student Health Services are also heavy on inclusivity and reaches out to women of all sexualities and races, and provides several off campus LGBTQ+ based health resources and locations near the Bay Area.
When contacting Student Health Services via email, do not attach or include any confidential information or personal health information. Make sure to know your SFSU Student ID number when talking to the Advice Nurse. After the Advice Nurse provides your health concern and advice, an SHS Nurse will follow up.
