What is “American Eats Company”?

American Eats Company was opened back in 2018 here in Tucson, Arizona. Owners Jesus Bonillas and Guillermo Gallegos decided to open Tucson’s first ALL LOCAL food court including 7 different local restaurants, a coffee shop, a bar, a raspado shop, arcade, and outdoor patio! The 7 restaurants are the following: Monster Sonoran Hot dogs, Cafe con leche, El Tacoson, Chicken Coop, Marketbar, ADIS, Fat boy sandos, and Walter’s Pizzeria. American Eats Co. has an amazing ambiance and is known to all Tucsonians as a Tucson staple now because of how popular it has become. 

 

Menu:

 

American Eats is a food court that serves up a bunch of different food options ranging from tacos to mexican seafood, chicken sandwiches and Italian food! The famous food court is known for its wide variety of food owned by Tucson locals. Each restaurant inside the court has its own concept and popular food choices. 

 

Monster Sonoran Hot dogs referred to as “Tucson’s favorite munchie spot” offers:

 

  • “Footlong Monster Birria Sonoran Hot dog”

  • “Ugly monster quesadilla”

  • Birria ramen

  • “Monster fries”

  • “Monster Nachos”

(Birria ramen, jalapeño poppers, birria tater tots, quesabirrias, all from Monster Sonoran)

 

Café con leche is a coffee shop at American eats company, they serve different types of drinks like Coffee, teas and boba tea too! Their menu’s favorites are: 

 

  • Iced white mocha coffee

  • Wide variety of milk teas

  • “Gansito Frappe”

  • Salted Caramel latte

  • “Almond Joy mocha”

El Tacoson is American Eats’ taco spot, their top menu items are:

  • Carne asada tacos & Al pastor tacos

  • Burritos percherones

  • Bacon wrapped burritos

  • Red & green chilaquiles

The Chicken Coop is american eats company’s “chicken joint”, some of their menu items include:

FatBoy Sandos is located inside American Eats Co. ultimate Japanese spot! They have the following:

Walter’s Pizzeria is the one and only delicious Italian eatery inside American Eats! They have a variety of:

Kitchen 86 is the traditional American place to get your burgers and sandwiches! They offer:

American Eats Co. is located on 4th avenue in South Tucson. The layout is like a mall food court that allows for many different types of food options to be offered varying from Mexican, American, Italian, Korean, Japanese and many more. This layout allows for the space to be family friendly but also allows for locals to host many different types of events with the large space it offers. Not only that but it also offers a full bar on the left side of the building for the time that you want to catch a UA game or boxing match with some fun drinks! The layout was created this way to give a diverse feel to the building but also to make it feel like a safe place since we have all at least been in a mall food court at one point. American Eats Co. is just that without the mall part. This space is not just any food court, they often offer mariachi, bands and the hottest Dj’s performing on the weekends for people to enjoy the music while having a good time.  The amazing food court gives off a very rustic but chill atmosphere. It is not a big flashy building. As it is a building right in the middle of a neighborhood that fits perfectly within the community. 

Community & Contribution

Not only is American Eats the hot spot for food and munchies but they also support the community in a lot of different ways. The space contributes to bringing the community together as well as supporting Tucson school fundraisers, non-profit organizations and even hosts Tucson sport youth fundraisers! The location also takes catering orders to serve up any local event you may have and even serves up several banquets during the year with a large space capacity that fits up to 250 people.

  • Four for lunch today, and everyone had a wonderful time. This place is growing on me, the people are so friendly, I love the atmosphere here. Not overcrowded, kinda surprising for a Saturday.I tried the 86 burger, and one of my companions had the double. Same amount of meat (1/2 lb), but one versus 2 patties. What a great burger, perfectly cooked, nice bacon, big slice of tomato. Worth every penny. The sweet potato fries were excellent. My wife had a Sonoran dog, which she judged excellent. Interesting color bun! We'll be back again with new visitors!

  • Awesome spot. I love food halls because I can get a little taste of everything. I think that have a good variety of options here, and plenty of seating all around. We came close to closing so we hope to be back another time for sure in order to get the whole experience!

All of these restaurants are MUST to try! Every single one of them contributes to the American Eats Company food court. Not only do they add a little something to our community with their food but their amazing customer service and great environment is something you don't want to miss out on. The wonderful atmosphere and environment you walk in once you walk through the doors to American Eats Co. is something no one wants to miss out on. Customer service is something that all the restaurants take pride in.
