Driving north on busy Campbell St and you look to your right side immediately passing Copper St and you see a blue colored adobe house.  That’s one of Tucson’s well know traditions called Blue Willow.  Since 1978, they have been serving up wholesome breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They pride themselves not only on homemade-style cooking, but emphasize the use of fresh real ingredients.  They have even gone over and beyond accommodating guests with special diets such as Gluten-Free and Vegan.  Also giving the choice for organic and local items.Upon walking in through the main entrance, it gives a rather odd and exciting feeling because you’re walking into their gift shop instead.  This is where the hostess/cashier is located.  This gift shop isn’t your ordinary Tucson 4-Ever shop.  It is actually pretty full of randomness.  And might I add, cool as hell! There are things that range from cards, to kitchen gadgets, office stuff, jewelry, garden decors, and of course, the funny gag gifts.  Once you’ve made it past your wait time (be prepared because there usually is a wait time), you’re officially in the house.  The main dining room places itself in the heart of this blue adobe house that once served as a rental for the University of Arizona.  Towards the back of the restaurant, there is a year-around patio dining area to enjoy Tucson’s weather.  Nothing completes a home-style restaurant without its own bakery.  From there comes their famous pies, cakes, cookies, muffins, brownies, and EVEN quiches.
