History:

According to historian David Leighton, the idea of building Tucson Mall was entirely a coincidence. In 1930, Helen Wetmore discovered a shopping mall on her Chicago trip and thought that this was what she wanted to have on her own land Owned. Her husband ’s family has owned a piece of land since 1800. The construction plan of Tucson Mall really began in 1978, and Forest City Enterprises proposed a participation plan.

In 1990, Tucson Mall began a large-scale expansion plan. The Dillard's anchor was the first part to be expanded and renovated, and a parking garage was built next to it. On the east side of the mall, a new wing was built for providing more commercial services and attracting companies to join. This new wing began to provide complete services in 1991, and provided more than 400,000 square feet of space for the entire shopping center, as well as more than 70 new stores.

Tucson Mall expects all stores to comply with this policy. Tucson Mall expects food store tenants to continue to provide pick-up and shipping services, but consumers are not allowed to be dining on the public.

The Mall Walker Program is suspended until further notice.
