BLACKMORE, PTE. LESLIE NORMAN Reg.# B/147782

Leslie Norman Blackmore was born June 4, 1921 in Burks Falls the son of James R. Blackmore and Winnifred Ada Schade of Midlothian. He enlisted June 4, 1940 in Toronto.

He left for overseas in February1944. He was injured in Belgium and he died on October 18, 1944 at the age of 23.

Leslie Norman Blackmore embarked for overseas service on February 16, 1944 arriving in England on February 24th, 1944.

On August 10, 1944 he was transferred to the CAC/2nd Div. in France.
