Orma Edna Boettger was born in Croft Twp. April 27, 1924 to William Ulrich and Lila Maria (King) Boettger
Orma enlisted on February 21, 1943 in Toronto.
During 1943 and 1944 Orma was posted to Toronto.
In late 1945 and early 1946, Oma was posted in Holland.
Throughout her service, Orma continued to take courses and increase her qualifications.
It was during service in Holland that Orma became seriously ill.
