BRIDGEWATER, PTE. THOMAS Reg. # 657893
Thomas Charles Carlton Bridgewater was born August 6, 1897 in Orillia.
At the time of his enlistment on May 2, 1916 in Burks Falls, Thomas indicated that he lived at Doe Lake, Parry Sound, that he was a farmer and that his next of kin was his other Lu (Louise) Bridgewater also of Doe Lake.
Thomas arrived in England May 14, 1917 on the S.S. Metagam.
He transferred from the 177th Battalion to the 3rd Reserve Battalion and then to the 19th Battalion in August of 1917.
On April 6, 1918 while with the 19th he was wounded and died of those wounds the same day.
