Cecil was born July 24, 1922 in Whitestone, son of Thomas and Bertha Hilda (Moore) Ewin.

Cecil is believed to have been in the Queens Own Rifles

Cecil Alvin Ewin, married Helen Gwendolyn Marion Crisp. Helen Gwendolyn Crisp was the daughter of Fred Crisp and Eleanor Mary Robinson. (After Fred’s death, Eleanor married ‘Paddy’ Ewin.)
