KIDD, PTE. DENZIL
Denzil Arthur Kidd was born July 15, 1916 in North Bay, Ontario to Manson Vernon and Janet Ann (Hagert) Kidd. He was married October 31, 1938 to Marian Helen Sillaway in Powassan, Parry Sound. They appear to have separated and he married Doris Amelia Dankin Kidd in 1972. He lived in Magnetawan in 1995 and died 1998. He is buried in Chapman Cemetery.
He appears to have had two chilldren- one of whom, Hugh Kidd was born in 1941 and died 2003

“Magnetawan residents Denzil and Dora Kidd were honoured on their retiremnet from the Navy League Cadet Corps in North Bay on June 1st. Mr. Kidd served the Navy League for 20 years, while Mrs. Kidd was involved as a civilian instructor.for seven years. Mr. Kidds ranking was Lieutenant Commnader and Mrs. Kidd held the rank of Lieutenant. “
