LANGFORD, PTE.  THOMAS S. Reg, #3111033

Thomas Langford was born February 14, 1888 in Spence Township, the son of Thomas Samuel Langford and Susannah Blakely.

At the time of the 1891 and 1901 censuses, the family lived in Spence. By the time of the 1911 census, the Langford family lived in Magnetawan on Sparks Street.

Following the war (at the time of the 1921 census), Thomas was living back in Spence Twp. as a lodger with the Brown family.

On October 26, 1926 Thomas married Martha Ellen Bell  in Spence Township

Thomas and Sarah had one child: Oram Elizabeth Susan Langford born in 1923.

In his Discharge Certificate it is identified that Thomas joined the 2nd Battalion of the C.O.R.D. at Niagara on the Lake on July 20th, 1918.

He served in England in the 8th Reserve Battalion.
