MOULTON, EMMA

Emma Charlotte Wager was born September 3, 1901,  the  daughter of Wilson and Maggie (Van Valkenberg) Wager. Emma married William Earl Moulton on March 8, 1921. Earl was born May 9, 1895, the son of Robert and Isabella (McDonald) Moulton of Dunchurch.  Earl was a first World War veteran and is discussed earlier

Earl survived the war but drowned in a logging accident on the Magnetwan River in 1925 leaving Emma a widow with two young children.

Emma was apparently the only woman from Croft in the service. Emma served in Oshawa.

Jack Crossman believes that Emma was a cook and that she stayed in the Oshawa area.
