Gordon Stanley Wilder was born August 25, 1892 in Parry Sound District, the son of John Adam Wilder and Sarah Minnie McDougal.
At the time of the 1901 census, the family lived in Christie Twp.
In his Attestation paper, Gordon identified that he was a prospector.
Gordon is identified to have died April 9, 1917 Calais, Dordogne, Aquitaine, France.
No connection with the Magnetawan area has been found at time of writing.
Gordon arrived in England and in June of 1916 was transferred from the 76th Battalion to the 20th Battalion.
