Overview

There are many programs that are offered at Winston-Salem, NC and they include programs called Authoring Action, Crosby Scholars, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Forsyth County Young Leaders Program, etc.

Authoring Action

Authoring action is a non-profit organization that lets teens be artists and creative thinkers in order to express themselves. There are many ways for teens to express themselves in this program and some include writing, filming, designing, dancing, and so on.

There are professionals and teachers that are able to guide the teens in the path to express themselves. Teens are also able to engage their works to an audience to push society for change and to let their voices be heard. 

An example of a location where an engagement took place at the program Authoring Action was at Baltimore, Maryland at the Baltimore Convention Center.  

Crosby Scholars 

Crosby Scholars is a non-profit organization that helps kids from middle school to high school to prepare for college. It offers community services, knowledge, and opportunities to help students better prepare for a higher education. 

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit organization that offers people to become a big brother or sister to a child who would represent the little brother or sister. The purpose of this program is to help younger children be able to have a mentor, a person they can trust, someone that can guide them, or just to be a friend. 

Forsyth County Young Leaders Program

Forsyth County Young Leaders Program is a non-profit organization that helps high school students be able to have a mentor and learn some skills and knowledge that they can use in their futures. This program teaches to network as well to be able to meet people that can help them achieve their dreams and goals.
