My name is Shannon Smith. The R is for Robert, which is my given name, but a name I've never gone by.
I'm trying hard to follow after Jesus. I fail many times a day in that endeavor, which is why the fact that God still loves and cares about me is incredible.
I'm a husband to a wonderful woman named Kim, and father to a couple of great kids.
I moved to the Triangle in 1998, when I started my undergrad at North Carolina State University. In the midst of my journey toward a degree, I moved away, only to return a couple more year later. I've lived in Raleigh and Cary. Currently, we live in the Villages of Tryon neighborhood in South Raleigh.
I currently work at SAS Institute, Inc. as a Testing Manager in Research and Development.
