Metro RTA is the public transportation provider for Summit County. The Metro transports more than six million passengers annually to work, to school, to medical appointments and to some of the best places in town.
Bus Rules
- No shoes, no shirt, no pants...no ride.
- No loud music or loud ringtones. Use headphones and put that phone on vibrate.
- No smoking, no alcohol or other controlled substances.
- No littering.
- No horseplay or throwing things.
- No profanity or abusive language. We are certain your mother taught you better.
- No damaging METRO property, including graffiti (even if you are the next Picasso).
- No bicycles on bus seats. Use the bike rack when possible.
- No pets are allowed on METRO buses-even if caged, cute and cuddly.
- No solicitation, loitering or gambling.
- No eating or drinking on the bus, even if you bring enough to share with everybody.
- No unnecessary speaking to the bus operator while the bus is moving.
- No harassing other passengers (or the operator).
