There are four drawbridges that connecting the main island of Alameda to the outside world; the Park Street bridge, the Fruitvale Bridge, the High Street Bridge, and the Bay Farm Island bridge that connects the main island to Bay Farm Island.
There is also the Bay Farm Island Bicycle Bridge, which runs parallel to the Bay Farm Island bridge, and an old train bridge next to the Fruitvale Bridge.
In addition to the bridges, there are also two tunnels that connect the western portion of Alameda to Oakland; these are the Webster Tube and the Posey Tube.
