Culvers is a chain restaurant that is known for their made to order butter burgers, and delicious custard. Of the two locations the one located on Hershey road is the better pick of the two. When you go to the one on hershey, they will gladly notice you and greet you right away. While both have very friendly staff and service the one on Hershey has a big aquarium with salt water fish. It is very amusing to look at while enjoying a meal. Everyday they serve vanilla or chocolate custard but they also have a different flavor of the day. If you wanted to know what the flavor of the day was you can easily check on the Culvers website or give them a call. During the summer they also serve lemon ice, which is lemon flavored Italian ice. With lemon ice you can get a smoothie which is any fruit of your choice, mixed with custard. Also with lemon ice you can get a cooler. Which is your choice of fruit, mixed with lemon ice. It's really popular while in season. They also sell the strawberry fields salad during the summer. A popular dressing to go with that would be a raspberry vinaigrette. The salad comes with a choice of crispy chicken or grilled. Its filled with lettuce, blue cheese crumbles, pecans, and strawberries. Sometime in October, the popular sweet potato fries also come back. Unfortunately it only lasts for a few months. Sweet potato fries also taste good with marshmallow sauce! Also, another seasonal item that comes is the walleye. It comes during lint season. You could get it as a dinner or a basket. With the basket you could either get the fish by its self, or in a sandwich. With the sandwich is comes with lettuce, and tartar sauce. The basket also includes fries and a drink. But you can always switch out the fries to a classical side; mash potatoes,green beans, and cole slaw.  If you want the dinner, you can get a choice of one two or three pieces of walleye with two sides. The default is french fries, and cole slaw. But again you can always switch out to  another side of your choice. Also a great thing to know about the one on hershey is that they have a customer appreciation day during the summer. The date changes every year but you can ask or give them a call to find out. They do a good job promoting it before it happens.  All day they sell a one scoop turtle sundae for only a $1, when originally it costs $4. It's a really good deal! The average amount you will spend will be around $9. The restaurants are definitely a nice calm place to eat for someone who is looking to relax and eat a nice meal.
