HOMECOMING AT I.S.U.
Homecoming usually occurs in the fall. Homecoming is a tradition at many colleges and even high schools. Homecoming welcomes back alumni of that school to come out and celebrate with there fellow professors and peers. Homecoming includes activities for alumni and students, like sports, parade all through the streets, and culture events. Homecoming is also a time when the whole town gets to get involved and also enjoy themselves. Everyone gets to most importantly go to the big homecoming football game to cheer on their team to win and they also get to elect who will be their homecoming court, Who will be their school King and Queen.
Homecoming at I.S.U. is something you just don’t want to miss. Homecoming is a great time to go out and meet new people and find out more about different organizations. There different events that goes on when homecoming comes around. Things like big parades, different shows, a big concert, football game, where the I.S.U. Cheerleaders perform ( https://localwiki.org/bloomington-normal/isu_cheerleading ) , and big parties and so on. When homecoming comes around you also get to pick your I.S.U. Queen and King. Homecoming is an event of lots of celebration. It’s a great time to just go out, dress up, and have fun with all of your friends and peers. So if you haven’t been to any I.S.U. homecoming before you should attend all the events this year (2015). SCHOOL EVENTS:
Tailgating:
On Saturday, October 24, 2015 come out and tailgate. Lots will open at 7am. There will be varies tailgating locations.
Parade:
Want to hear so good music and see some great performances? Come to The homecoming parade on Saturday, October 24, 2015 starting at 10:30am. It will start at the corner of College Avenue and University Street.

Football Game:
Come out and support the big homecoming football game. It will be on Saturday, October 24, 2015 located at the Hancock stadium. The Redbirds will be playing against Western Illinois University. The game starts at 2pm.
CONCERTS:
SHHHHhhhh......Word on the street is that Illinois State University will be having a Concert and Fetty Wap and Future will be performing.

FETTY WAP FUTURE
On Thursday, October 22, 2015, there will be a concert. King Louie, Jacquees, and Dreezy will be performing. The Concert will be located at Bone Student Center in the Brown Ballroom. Doors will be opening at 6:45pm.

PARTIES:
On Friday, October 23, 2015 there will be a homecoming party at the country club. This party starts at 10pm and ends at 2am. You need ID to enter. You must be 21 or older to drink.

Also on Friday, October 23,2015 the Nupes 
will be throwing a party at Econolodge, where G Herbo 
will be performing. This party is from 10:30pm until 2:30am.

There are so many events going on all week to celebrate homecoming 2015. So don’t miss these events! Be there or be square! Who wants to be inside with nothing to do when there are parties, concerts, games and so on going on? Take a break from all that school work. Go out the support your fellow redbirds and TURN UPPP!! I’m telling you this is just some fun you really don’t want to miss out on. If this is your first College homecoming I promise it will not be your last.
