Location

Sonic is a new establishment in the area. It opened on September 1 2011 Great food selection, at all hours of the day. For guys you can wake up to a burger in the morning, or have your breakfast at night time. Sonic is well-known for their slushies and hot dogs. The employees run around on skates which is fun to watch if it all goes bad. The downside to this nice establishment for some is the location and the parking in the lots. It can be hard to manuver around the drive up parking spots since its wal-mart parking lot. Located on the south west side of the wal-mart parking lot.

2011-09-30 16:42:01   I absolutely love Sonic. I was super excited when I first heard Normal was getting one! It is a lot of fun to be able to go to a drive up restaurant but also if you just love the food and don’t want to wait in the drive up line, you can go through the drive thru which is really nice. The only downfall in my opinion which was listed above is the lot around Sonic. I would definitely suggest they get their own lot and separate it from Walmart’s. It makes it really confusing to know where you are supposed to go when you enter certain entry ways in the Walmart parking lot. Although they have the bright cones out to guide your way, it still sucks. —BrittanyBecher
