The Special Olympics Illinois Headquarters is located on 605 E. Willow St. in Normal, IL, a few minutes from the Illinois State University's Student Recreation Building. This is a special sports organization for people with special needs to compete in different sports with a local high school or organization. They can improve on their sports skills, meet and make new friends, and earn ribbons and medals in different sports competitions. They can compete in different sports during each season of the year. Some of the places Special Olympics Illinois competitions are held at are Illinois State University, and Illinois Wesleyan University.
