Jog for The Jake is a 5k road race and Kid's Fun Run. It was established in 2002 in the memory of Lawrence D. Jacobs, M.D., Buffalo's world-renowned Multiple Sclerosis (MS) physician, researcher and Chair at UB Department of Neurology.

This race celebrates Dr. Jacob's life through a special, fitness-oriented event, designed for the entire family. In the previous year, this race has attracted over 1,200 runners, walkers, and Kids Fun Run participants.

Jog for The Jake has raised over $800,000 over the last eight years for the Jacobs neurological Institute to be used for neurological research.

For More Information about this race please visit the Jog For the Jake Website.
