Enloe Homecare and Hospice is a medical service facility that is associated with Enloe Medical Center. They offer two services, as the name implies, home care and hospice. Enloe Homecare offers care for patients who are well enough to be out of the hospital, but still need medical attention from a nurse. They keep regular business hours, but have on-call nurses 24 hours a day for their patients for circumstances in which after hours assistance may be needed. Enloe Hospice is a medical service for patients with life-limiting illness. Nurses and doctors offer in-home medical services to allow patients approaching the end of life as much comfort and familiarity as possible. In addition to the medical staff, Enloe Hospice has volunteer opportunities (which include training and support) for those looking to make a difference for patients and their families.
