June 23 — Woodland Heights Baptist Church Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction benefitting The Bethlehem House of Conway, 8-11 a.m., at the WHBC Fellowship Hall, 4215 Prince St. (at the comer of Prince Street and Hogan Lane). The pancake breakfast is free with donations accepted. The event will include a silent auction and door prizes. All proceeds will go to The Bethlehem House Capital Campaign to build their new facility. Two matching grants have been pledged which will triple the amount.
June 27 - The Conway Geek Lunch is a monthly community-driven meeting for local (and visiting) technology-minded people. Each month attendees congregate to discuss topics like social media, digital marketing, design, programming, and ways to better their communities. Dec. 8 – Faulkner County Retired Teachers Association will hold its annual holiday luncheon in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church. Bring your favorite dish or dessert. Patty Oeste and the Ruth Doyle Intermediate 6th Grade Choir will provide music. Anyone who has retired from any position in education is welcome to attend.
