"Corvallis High School is distinctive because we have many award-winning teachers and students and a culturally diverse student body. Numerous CHS graduates continue to teach, work, and learn at their alma mater, attesting to its positive and energizing environment. CHS is a place where all are welcome; students find a great balance of challenge and support.

Corvallis High also offers Advanced Placement courses in 11 areas, 5 honor classes, as well as courses that earn students college credit through agreements with Linn-Benton Community College. English composition is an integral part of requirements at each grade level. A variety of work-based learning opportunities allow students to see the connections between school and the world of work.

Corvallis High School employs 66 certified classroom teachers, 3.5 counselors and 32 support staff.

The school year is 38 weeks long, divided into 2 semesters. Daily classes are a modified block schedule – 1.0 credit semester classes meet every day for 95 minutes, .50 credit split block classes meet for 95 minutes every other day." (From Corvallis High School 2008-2009 Profile).
