According to Bazooka is a Davis based band formed in 2013 and features Americana and pop style songwriting with a vintage vibe . Rene Martucci (vocals, Accordion), Richard Urbino (vocals, guitar), Jamie Knapp (vocals, upright bass) and Don Johnston (drums, percussion) perform their new "Americana Pop" originals with lush harmonies. Inspired by life in the valley, their tunes infuse genres such as folk, country, rock and zydeco. Their catchy melodies have a distinctive California flavor. They released their CD "Easy Come, Easy Go" in the fall of 2015. Recorded at Foxtail sound in Dixon, it was engineered and mastered by Steve O’Niell. Their second album is produced by Sacramento’s David Houston, recorded at Moon Studio in Sacramento and debuts October 2017.
