Although the pizza was excellent, they saw fit to impose a credit card surcharge, which according to California law is illegal. Do not pay with a credit card at Mountain Mike's!AnsateJones

2005-05-23 11:35:45 The Robber's Roost with white sauce is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. —AlexPomeranz

2005-07-17 15:57:55 The buffet pizza was really lousy; I get the impression these owners don't know how to make pizza. Plus, the video games loudly try to lure customers like the slot machines in a casino. —NoelBruening

2005-10-30 00:11:10 Their buffet pizza is friggin' GREAT, especially at that price. —RoyWright

2005-11-02 19:55:00   I've never had a credit card surcharge added to my order, regardless or price, maybe they did a PIN transaction for yah? Their pizza is quite good, especially when the coupons come around =D —JarredOral

2005-11-02 20:12:04   It sounds like the common transient tip charge which is discussed elsewhere on the wiki (it doesn't actually apply against your credit limit and goes away after a couple days... it shows up on internet banking, but isn't really a charge, more of a potential charge to cover a potential tip. It's perfectly legal and the standard way Visa tells merchants to handle gratuities) —JabberWokky

2006-03-13 09:16:38   As noted in the main text, they often send coupons in the mail. The great thing is that they never take the coupons when delivering pizzas, so you can reuse them. With the buy-one-get-one-free large specialty pizza, I can get 2 large specialty pizzas for about $24 delivered. IMO, with that coupon, it's the best pizza deal in town for quality/price ratio. —AlexPomeranz
