Overview

Have you ever wanted to explore pole dancing as a form of exercise and entertainment, but weren't sure where to start? Now, at UC Davis, you can! The UC Davis Pole Dancing Club is a SRO (Student Registered Organization)/club at UC Davis that is open to members of all genders, sexualities, and ethnicities - we strive to create an open, welcoming, relaxed, and judgment-free environment for people to explore the art of pole dancing and embrace their own strength and sensuality through the art of pole dancing! At meetings, instructors teach beginner/intermediate spins, shapes, and types of dance on the pole, as well as having other instructors teach twerking, handstands, acrobatics, exotic dancing, and more.

Meetings are every week on Wednesdays from 7:30 - 9:30 PM at Olson Hall 207. No experience is required to join, though we ask that you join the Discord (https://discord.gg/nr9p5HEenc) for updates on meetings, excursions, and more! See y'all there!

Club Meetings

Club meetings have a very fluid structure - we'll meet at 7:30 and start by having announcements while stretching. Then, the president will divide the members into 3 groups - 2 will have practice time on our poles, and the other group will be doing a dance/choreography workshop led by an instructor.

Club Fees

You can still come to meetings and use the poles if you do not pay your dues. However, you will not be able to use the poles during future club excursions, nor will you be able to use any pole apparatuses/equipment
