William Basinski studied Jazz Sax and musical composition in the late 70's at North Texas State University. His music employs reel-to-reel tape decks to create feedbacking loops of pure bliss.
Career
Basinski has released numerous albums over the last decade. His most popular album could be considered The Disintegration Loops. Constructed from Basinski's vast arsenal of tape loops, DLP is a re-collecting of the looped material from 20 years past.
