The Old County Fair Grounds (Kent County Agricultural and Industrial Society's Fair Grounds) were located just south of Hall between Jefferson and Madison, according to the 1888 Sanborn Map of Grand Rapids. The 1895 map shows the area divided into plots with a few houses already constructed.
