Rosalynn Bliss is a current Commissioner of Ward 2. Bliss began her first term in January of 2006, it will expire on December 31, 2009.

Career

Commissioner Bliss is the Program Director of KidsFirst, a program of St. John's Home that provides emergency shelter for abused children in Kent County. She is also an adjunct professor of Social Work at Grand Valley State University.

Education

Bliss earned a BA in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Alabama. Additionally, Bliss earned her Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Michigan State University.
