Insomnia Cookies is a popular late-night ice cream and cookie shop among college students. This shop is located at 425 Tate St, Greensboro, N.C.

History

Seth Berkowitz, a former student at the University of Pennsylvania, created Insomnia Cookies in 2003 while attending school there. In addition, the first store opened in Syracuse, NY. Now, there are Insomnia Cookies shops all over the United States. 

The first Greensboro Insomnia Cookies location opened in early Fall 2016. This location is in between Coffeeology and Raaz Indian Kitchen on Tate Street, which is a popular area with a variety of stores and restaurants. This shop has two seating areas. Inside the shop, there is a wooden table by the door where customers can sit and enjoy their food. Outside the shop, there are several tables and chairs for students, friends, and families. 

Store Hours 

Insomnia Cookies is open from 11 AM to 1 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Sundays. This shop closes at 3 AM from Thursday to Saturday, and typically, it is the busiest during the late afternoon. 

 

Menu 

The Greensboro Insomnia Cookies' menu has a variety of options and flavors. This shop has vegan, snickerdoodle, M&M, and Chocolate Chunk cookies. In addition, there are many flavors of ice cream, including Cookie Butter Bomb, Mint Chocolate Chip, Vanilla, and Chocolate

 

Price

The average cost of a cookie from Insomnia Cookies is about three dollars per cookie. In addition, one cup of ice cream is about six dollars per cup. 

  

Delivery App

In June 2014, Insomnia Cookies created its first app. This app allows customers to order cookies and ice cream for delivery and pick-up. This app is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple Store. Also, this location has Grubhub delivery.
