About UNC Greensboro

UNC Greensboro, better known as UNCG is a public 4-year university located at 1400 Spring Garden St, Greensboro, NC 27412.  UNCG first opened up as a college for women on October 5th, 1892 then in 1964, the university opened up for men. UNCG is one of the most diverse universities in the state, representing over 90 nationalities.

UNCG Nature 

UNCG was named one of the nation's most environmentally responsible colleges, according to The Princeton Review. UNCG believes that students should want to live and study at a green college.

Fountains 

UNCG is known for its famous fountain right in front of the cafe, also known as the fountain view. Many people are not aware of the small fountain downstairs behind the EUC, students enjoyed the weather at both fountains Wednesday afternoon.

Plantlife

UNCG's campus is flooded with beautiful blooming flowers everywhere you turn. From daisies to tulips in all different colors, students can't get enough of the campus that they call theirs.
