Overview- The Wrangler Lee Pop-up shop has been a Greensboro attraction for three years now. At the shop you can find locally sourced Wrangler apparel, as well as exclusive Lee apparel that you can't get anywhere else. Here you'll find Jeans, T-shirts, Jackets and more, many of which were sewn and produced right here in North Carolina.

History- Wrangler was born in 1904 when C.C. Hudson bought several sewing machines and a loft on South Elm St with his brother, founding what was then known as the Hudson Overall Company. The company wouldn’t be known as Wrangler until 1947, the year Wrangler Authentic

Western Jeans were first released to the public.

Location- The Wrangler Lee Hometown studio is located on 300 S Elm St, Greensboro, NC. The shop sits on a corner and has a large glass facade with several large scale displays inside the window. Because of its centralized location downtown the shop can get pretty busy on weekend nights.

Events- Aside from being an attraction itself, Wrangler’s Hometown Studio hosts various events throughout the year to commemorate the cultural diffusion that makes Greensboro unique. Celebrations like The NC Folk Festival and Greensboro Pride have used the store as a base of operations and meet up area, adding just a bit more hometown flair to the Hometown Studio.

Inside the store- Even though Lee and Wrangler are technically under one company under Kontoor, they’re still separate brands. As you walk into the store you’ll see Lee to your right and Wrangler to your left. Women’s clothing is featured prominently in the front, while Men’s clothes can be found closer to the back. Watch out for the larger than life statue of mascot Buddy Lee, legend has it that if you touch him he’ll follow you around the store.
