For 9 years the senior youth group from LCOS (Lutheran Church of Our Savior) has traveled to the Goldsboro, NC chapter of Habitat for Humanity.  They are hosted by local Goldsboro churches and work for a week on a Habitat home site.   The youth learn building skills as well as sharing their time and talents with a family anticipating a safe and secure home.  Best of all, they learn the gift of giving and realize how good it feels to help others in need.  our mission statement is "God's work, Our hands."  this year we leave on July 11 to the 18th.

On May 29th , Friday, we will host a Pasta Dinner at the church on Wood Lane to fundraiser for our donation to the Habitat chapter.  they will be 4 seating starting at 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00.

Costs are $12.00 per adult, $8.00 per child (5 to 16) and children under 5 are free.
