Hercules Point is the westernmost land mass of Hercules, separated to the east by the Union Pacific railroad tracks, jutting into San Pablo Bay. Remnants of a historic pier remain in place and define the horizon along the waterfront.

The area is planned to become a regional park under the approved Hercules Bayfront plan. The park project requires public funding to be completed.

The land is part of the former California Powder Works factory and has been deemed clean by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) for the planned park use.

There is currently no schedule for completion.
