Ann Baldwin was the second child of Henry Ives Baldwin and his wife, Birgit. Ann was born in Sweden, her mother's childhood home, with a crippling birth defect, and died as an infant, three months of age. She is buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery, believed to be in the same plot as her grandparents, Dr. Edward and Mary Ives Baldwin. The cemetery records show a listing for "Henry Baldwin [the baby's father]; infant; 1930 (BR) [burial?]; OO [I'm told this means the cemetery association doesn't have a location for this burial]; No stone. Book #4." Baldwin family members who visited on July 21, 2012, believe that there is a small stone with the name "Ann" in the Baldwin plot near the foot of the grandparents graves, but it seems to be buried and could not immediately be found.
