Clarence Jandrew was a World War II veteran.  He was a son of Delbert and Beatrice DuBray Jandrew.  His wife and children lived at 11 1/2 Baker Street.

Clarence Jandrew Dies At Hospital

Clarence Jandrew of Mills Avenue died at 11 o'clock last evening at Saranac Lake General Hospital where he had been a patient since August 30. He was born July 29, 1923 in Saranac Lake, the son of Delbert and Beatrice DuBray Jandrew.

He it survived by his wife, the former Marie Gonyea, and two sons Delbert and William, and a daughter, Ellen.

Mr. Jandrew was the caretaker of the Thompson Block and had also worked with the New York Central Railroad. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving as a staff sergeant in the Amy, and a member of the American Legion.

Mr. Jandrew is reposing at the Fortune Funeral Home where there will be a Rosary at 8 p.m. tomorrow. A Funeral Mass win be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
