Clayton A. Skiff

PLATTSBURGH - Clayton A. Skiff, 66, of West Plaitsburgh died Saturday at the Physicians Unit of the Medical Center. He was born in Gabriels on Jan. 29, 1905, the son of Alvin and Etta (Comstock) Skiff.

He was a member of St. Alexander's Church, a veteran of World War II and a member of Fountain Brothers Post 1619 American legion.

He is survived by his wife the former Julia Alphonso, one daughter. Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Petrick of Jamaica, L.I,; one brother, Gordon Skiff of Bloomingdale; one sister Mrs. Cleon (Maude) Trumball of Watertown and four grandchildren.

The body is at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from St. Alexander's Church.

Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
