-- On Tuesday David Fadden and Michael Dearnan went to Bloomingdale for a load of hay for Mr. Dearnan. On their way home they had the bad luck to tip over opposite Peter Sullivan's house; there was a large drift on one side the road, on the other side the road was cut off and all ice. The sleds tipped upside down. Mr. Fadden jumped and so escaped injury but Mr. Dearnan was thrown off against a stone wall a bale of hay striking him and breaking one of his ribs. Dr. Noble attended him.
