Earl J. Abare
Earl J. Abare, of Saranac Lake, died at Saranac Lake General Hospital at 4:55 a. m. Sunday.
Mr. Abare, a farmer, was born Dec. 6, 1907 in Altona, N.Y., a son of David and Neda Ebare Abare, and came to Saranac Lake in 1920. He was a member of the Elks, an active member of the American Legion , and of the Moose.
Survivors are his wife. Louise; a son, Donald J. of Phoenix. Ariz., a daughter, Mrs. Bergette Long; of Phoehix, Ariz., ; seven grandchildren and two nieces.
An Elks service will be held at 7:30 this evening at the Fortune Funeral Home and a Rosary service at 8 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a. m. Tuesday at St. Bernard's Church. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in May.
