DEATH OF GEORGE H. FOY.

Deceased Was Son of the late Patrick H. Foy, of Malone, and Had Resided At Saranac Lake for Many Years.—

Funeral Will be Held To-Morrow at Saranac lake.

George H. Foy died at his home in Saranac Lake yesterday morning following a long illness, of tuberculosis, aged 47 years.

Mr. Foy was born in Malone, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Foy, and the greater part of his life was spent here. When a young man, he entered the employ of the Franklin Gazette, where be learned the printers' trade, which vocation he thereafter followed. He removed to Saranac Lake several years ago where he was employed as foreman of the Adirondack Enterprise, which position he held until failing health caused him to seek other employment. For several years he was engaged as an inspector on the state roads of Franklin county. He was quite prominently identified in local politics in the southern end of the county, being at one time elected to the office of town clerk for the town of Harrietstown.

Left to mourn his loss, besides his wife are two sons and one daughter, all of whom reside in Saranac Lake, also three sisters, Mrs. M. W. Looby of Dannemora, Mrs. Sherry Foster, of Massena, and Miss Anna Foy, of Malone, and three brothers, William of St. Augustine, Florida, Vincent, of Memphis, Tenn., and Francis, of Passaic, N. J., to all of whom the sympathy of a wide circle of friends is extended in their sad bereavement.

The funeral will be held at St. Bernard's church Wednesday morning at 19 o'clock, interment in Saranac Lake.
