Leo C. Furlong
Leo C. Furlong, of Vermontille, died at 3 p. m. Saturday it Saranac Lake General Hospital at the age of 61. He had been a patient at the hospital since Wednesday.
Mr. Furlong had been a maintenance carpenter at the Lake Placid Club. He was born Feb. 6, 1908 in Lyon Mt., a son of William and Margaret LaBrake Furlong. He was a corporal in the Air Force in World War II.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Susan Sochia of Schenectady, and two brothers, William of Vermontville and Frank of Burke.
The funeral was held at 10 i. m. today at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Bloomingdale with the Rev. F. C. McMahon officiating. Interment was in St. Paul 's Cemetery.
