SARANAC LAKE - Margaret L. Davis, 77, of 203 Lake St., an area resident for 57 years, died Saturday morning at Saranac Lake General Hospital.
She was born in Shickshinny, Pa., a daughter of John and Minerva (Youlls) McLaughlin.
Her husband, Nelson R. Davis, whom she married in 1920, died in 1968.
Mrs. David is survived by two sons, Nelson R. Davis Jr. of Bethel Park, Pa., and Richard Davis of Port Henry; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Jane Nelson of Saranac Lake; a brother, Charles McLaughlin of Shickshinny; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
At one time, Mrs. Davis had been employed as a secretary for Munn's Gas and Electric.
A funeral service was said at 11 a.m. Monday at the Fortune Funeral Home with the Rev. Philip Zebley, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery in Bloomingdale in May.
