Dr. Mary Edith Kohl, from Wisconsin, was a former TB Patient who served as a doctor at Ray Brook Hospital.  She was apparently the only female doctor at Ray Brook, according to a caption on a photograph of the staff of Ray Brook.  She served as Secretary of the Saranac Lake Medical Society.  She was in Saranac Lake from at least 1958 to 1964.

She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Saranac Lake Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Mary Kohl , of Ray Brook, was guest of honor last night at a dinner party at the Hotel Saranac given by about 20 of her friends, all members of the Women's Auxiliary of the Presbyterian Church. Dr. Kohl will leave Monday to begin a three-year residency in psychiatry at the State University of Iowa medical college hospital at Iowa City.
