With the Fifth Army, Italy.—Willard Wayne Dora, Burke, recently was promoted from second to first lieutenant while serving on the Fifth Army front in Italy. He is now a rifle platoon leader in an infantry regiment. Formerly he was platoon leader and company officer.
He entered service in February 1944, at Fort Benning, Georgia, and has served at Camp Hale, Hale, Colorado and Camp Swift, Texas.
His father, Ryan J. Dora lives on Route 2, Burke.
