Basically, Wegmans is the most popular grocery store in Ithaca. They combine the produce, seafood, meat, cheeses, and gourmet deli specialty items of an upscale grocery store, with the regular everyday items that can be found mostly everywhere. The original wegman's is located in Rochester New York, and is so popular that it is a regular tourist attraction for people from out of town.

Besides your local grocery items, they also have a cafe (Market Cafe), which sells subs, pasta, salads and pizza. The store also features pre-made sushi, an Asian heating bin bar (6.99 per pound), a vegetarian bar (6.99 per pound), and a olive/hummus bar. Wegmans also had a coffee shop inside and even has a bakery department selling gourmet desserts and bread.
